All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Each stud centers an oval emerald inside a close halo of round diamonds, twenty to a side and forty across the pair. The halo stones are clawed individually rather than bead set, which leaves the outer edge scalloped and faintly floral instead of a smooth rim, and makes the head read larger and brighter than its 11 by 9 millimeter footprint.
Two metals are doing separate jobs here. The halo and its claws are white, sharpening the diamonds and holding them apart from the green, while the four claws that grip each emerald are yellow gold and land as small warm points directly on the stone. The emeralds carry 2.40 carats together and show a soft green that turns slightly bluish where the crown deepens.
