A pear cut emerald hangs from a tapered white gold surmount at each ear, held in a full bezel that follows the outline of the stone right around and leaves no prongs to interrupt the shape. The emeralds are a soft grass green, translucent rather than glassy, with the silky internal texture the species is known for.
One round diamond is set into each surmount above the drop, and the hinged link between the two lets the stone swing. At 15 x 7 mm they read as a clean green teardrop at the ear with nothing else added.
