All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A cross built entirely from round emeralds, around twenty of them, with no plain metal panel anywhere in the design. Each of the four arms finishes in a budded terminal where three stones cluster into a trefoil, so the outline flares at every end rather than stopping square.
The green is soft and grassy and varies from stone to stone, some clear and some more clouded, which keeps a piece made of identical rounds from looking machine matched. At 45 x 20 mm it is a full sized cross, and the silver shows only as the beading and claws holding each stone.
