All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The emerald is a pear cut, and it hangs inside an open teardrop of gold rather than against a solid back, so skin shows through the gap between the stone and the frame. Six small diamonds climb the inside of that frame on one side only, and at the top the gold twists into a knot where the chain runs through.
Green sits saturated and even across the face of the stone, pushed warmer still by the gold outline around it. On the sixteen inch chain the pendant rests at the base of the throat and stands twenty millimeters tall.
