The same halo arrangement in yellow gold turns two toned. An oval emerald is held by four gold claws at the quarters, and around it twenty round diamonds sit in collets that read white against the warm metal, giving the green a bright inner border and a warmer outer one. The effect is a small sunburst about the size of a thumbnail.
At 19 by 10 millimeters the pendant is compact for the amount of color it carries. A plain tapered bail carries it on a slim sixteen inch chain.
