A round Zambian emerald of 0.40 carats sits at the centre of a scalloped yellow gold halo, the small round diamonds set in lobes that curve out like petals rather than in a plain circle. More diamonds run down each shoulder in a single fine line, tapering as the slim band narrows. The diamonds total 0.12 carats.
Yellow gold against green is the point of the piece: warm metal on both sides of the stone pushes the emerald colour forward, and the floral outline keeps a 0.40 carat centre looking generous on the finger. Ring size 7 US.
