All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
An oval emerald of 1.65 carats sits high in four double claws, its green even across the crown and cool rather than yellowish. Two concentric rows of round diamonds ring the stone in a double halo that widens the face of the setting well past the emerald itself. The 0.32 carats of diamond is divided among 62 stones, small enough that the two rows read as continuous bands of light instead of separate points.
Below the head the shank is left entirely plain, a smooth band of 14K white gold that tapers slightly as it reaches the finger and carries no stones at the shoulders. That restraint is the point: nothing competes with the emerald, and on the hand the ring reads as one oval of green inside a bright white frame. It is sized at 8 US.
