Seven oval emeralds make up the head of this ring, one lying east to west at the middle with six more turning around it, packed close enough that the beads of silver between them do most of the holding. The green is soft and translucent rather than glassy, and it holds much the same tone across all seven, so the cluster reads as one broad shape instead of as seven separate stones.
A scalloped border of very small round white zircon follows the lobed outline the outer ovals make, tracing every curve of it rather than squaring the head off. Below that the shank stays plain and narrow, which leaves the cluster standing proud of the finger and reading wider than the ring itself. Sized 6 US.
