These are pear cut, not the round or oval most emerald studs use, and they are set point up on three claws so the taper reads clearly at the top of the lobe. Two claws hold the base and one grips the tip, which is the whole of the metal work; there is no bezel, no gallery, nothing framing the green.
Each stone measures 8 by 5 millimeters and the pear outline carries that length vertically, so the pair sits taller on the ear than the carat weight alone would suggest. Cool 14K white gold keeps the green from taking on any warmth.
