All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
These are pear cut, not the round or oval that the word stud usually suggests. Each stone sits point up in a three prong mount, one claw at the tip and two at the wide base, so very little metal crosses the face of the emerald. The green leans distinctly toward blue, and at 8 by 6 millimeters the stones are generous for the format, 1.29 carats for the two of them.
Solid 10K white gold keeps the mounting minimal and cool, which sharpens that blue green instead of warming it. Worn tight against the lobe they read as two green teardrops with the metal almost invisible behind them.
