All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Two openwork panels hang one below the other. The upper is a ribbon twist outlined in black spinel with a single oval amethyst caught inside it. The lower is a gourd shaped frame, waisted at the middle, with a chevron of spinel driving up through the bulb at the bottom. Ten amethysts to an ear, all ovals: four in a cross at the top, one at the waist, one below that, three across the hem.
The metal reads dark throughout, so the pave and the frames merge into one continuous black outline and the pale purple sits inside it like glass in a leaded window. Sixty three millimeters of length, and the cut away construction keeps the pair from wearing heavy.
