Here the balance flips: 334 black spinels form the dark body of these long earrings, with twenty amethysts threaded through as small points of purple. At 63 by 27 millimeters they are big, dramatic drops that stay deep and matte rather than flashy, set in rhodium plated sterling silver. Only one pair like it was made.
