The web is the larger of the two elements: an openwork disc of fine radiating spokes and concentric strands, pierced right through so skin shows behind the design. A short bar drops from the chain above it and carries a small spider down toward the web, its body set with an oval amethyst in deep purple.
Everything else is thin cable chain in warm yellow toned metal, which leaves the two figures alone on the wrist with a lot of open space around them. At 0.08 carats the amethyst is a point of color rather than a mass of it, and that suits a bracelet whose interest is really in the drawing. It measures 7.5 inches.
