One round blue diamond, bezel set flush into a raised round medallion at the center of a broad band. The metal does most of the work here: deep grooves radiate out from the medallion and continue as fluting across the shoulders, so the whole top face throws light in bands while the stone stays a single fixed point of blue. At 0.18 carats the diamond is small by design, sized to punctuate the ring rather than to dominate it.
