Oval garnets run the full length set east to west, each held in four claws with the next following straight on, so the row is unbroken from one end to the other. Gold plated silver frames them, and the warm metal pushes the red toward its brown side rather than cooling it down.
Ten carats spread over ovals this size gives real coverage across the top of the wrist. The stones go almost wine dark where light drops off the shoulders and open to a clearer red at the crown. A smooth magnetic barrel clasp closes the 7 inch length, which leaves the line uninterrupted by any visible catch.
