Nearly seventeen carats in a single grey moonstone, cut as a round bead with a checkerboard crown and capped either side in gold toned metal so it threads straight onto the chain. There is no bail and no frame; the stone is the pendant. Grey moonstone carries a bluish sheen that moves across the surface as the bead turns, and the checkerboard facets break that sheen into small shifting patches.
