An oval blue sapphire sits at the center of each drop under four gold prongs, the navy dense enough that the facets show mainly as edges rather than as separate windows of light. Around it a gold ribbon and a line of small white topaz braid past one another in a scalloped frame, alternating over and under so the halo reads as woven rather than as a plain ring.
Gold plated sterling silver throughout, finished with a lever back and a short loop above the frame. At 29 by 11 millimeters the pair falls just below the lobe.
