There is no center stone. The pendant is an open oval and the sapphires run the entire way around it, round cut and set close in bright silver, so the ring of orange stays continuous and the middle stays empty.
The color sits between amber and coral, and carrying it around a full circle lets it shift as light moves along the frame. At 38 by 30 millimeters this is a large outline, and because it is open it stays light on the chain. Sterling silver, 2.86 carats in total.
