Three rows deep, this is a wide band rather than a single line. Oval peridot and oval white opal cabochons alternate both along the bracelet and across it, so the surface reads as a checkerboard of yellow-green and milky white, every stone held in its own set of small prongs. Nearly twenty carats spread over three rows gives the piece real breadth across the top of the wrist.
The peridot is faceted and bright, catching light in points, while the opals are cut as smooth domes that return an even, quiet glow instead of flashes. Against them the sterling silver openwork underneath keeps the whole band from reading heavy. A box clasp with a hinged safety closes it at seven and a half inches.
