A heart cut pink amethyst under three and a half carats, pale lilac pink and cut with a broad open table, carried in a halo of round white topaz that traces the heart rather than rounding it into a circle.
The shank is plain and tapered, rising to meet the setting without decoration, which leaves the outline of the stone to do the work. In profile it sits close to the finger, so the heart reads as a shape rather than a mound. Sterling silver, size 7.
