One oval ruby in yellow gold prongs, with the shoulders picked out in white metal and channel set with small diamonds that curve away from the stone in two shallow crescents. The two tone shoulder gives the ring its shape, since the crescents visually widen the head and carry the eye outward from the centre stone. Ten karat yellow gold through the shank.
