The band is built in blocks: four or five pairs of oval rubies, then a narrow upright bar set with small colorless stones, then another block, repeating around the wrist. That division gives the double row a segmented rhythm, and the pale bars read as bright rungs laid across an otherwise solid field of red.
Nearly eighteen carats of ruby against four hundredths of a carat of topaz tells you the proportion at a glance: the accents are punctuation rather than a second color story. Sterling silver prongs sit low and tight so the ovals crowd their neighbors, and the piece covers a broad strip of the wrist at seven and a half inches. Box clasp with twin safety catches.
