A round smoky quartz of 5.68 carats takes the centre, cut with a checkerboard crown so the top of the stone breaks into a grid of small squares instead of one flat table. Around it run two full rings of round citrine, the inner circle tight against the quartz and the outer stepping wider, roughly two dozen stones between them carrying 2.82 carats.
The two browns work against each other. The quartz is grey brown and cool, the citrine golden and warm, and the double halo pushes that warmth outward from the middle. The head is broad, the second ring adding considerably to the footprint of the centre stone. Sterling silver, size 7.
