A trillion cut Swiss blue topaz sits point down at the center, held by three bright prongs at its corners, and the black diamond halo around it is set into blackened metal so the frame reads as one continuous dark outline rather than a row of separate stones. The effect is a pale blue triangle cut cleanly out of black.
That contrast carries the design. Below the head the shank returns to bright polished sterling silver and widens into broad squared shoulders, giving the dark halo a clean white edge to sit against. The topaz is 1.88 carats and reads large across the finger; the 0.14 carats of black diamond is spread through the frame as very small round stones. Size 9 US.
