An oval Zambian emerald at the centre, ringed by small round diamonds each set on its own raised prong so the halo radiates outward in points rather than sitting flush against the stone. That construction leaves air between the diamonds and the emerald and gives the head a starburst outline. Ten karat white gold keeps the green cool and unmodified, and the shank is plain, tapering to a narrow band at the back.
